A small beach tourist town in Versilia, Northern Tuscany, characterized by the co-existence of old rural traditions and a more modern glamorous lifestyle, is the setting of an unusual encounter between an old lady with ancient ancestral powers and a young girl eager to become her heiress of magic. With the background of the economic crisis looming large, these two universes, two sensitivities confront each other in a clash of values; each is both attracted and frightened at the same time by the different language they speak. This is a small apologue about huge social transformations, and the deep need for a spirituality which constantly reappears each time that prosperity and economic security seem to be at stake.
